How the Integration Works

Minteo connects Finance and Operations directly to your banks, so that payments, bank statements, and account information flow between the two without manual file handling.

The integration is designed around three principles:

• A secure, authenticated connection. Finance and Operations and Minteo establish mutual trust during onboarding. All data exchange happens over this authenticated channel — no files are moved by hand and no credentials are shared with third parties. One connection covers all your banks and their formats.
• Work where you already work. Finance teams operate inside their familiar Finance and Operations screens. Minteo surfaces bank communication — sending payments, monitoring statements — directly in the workspace, so there is no separate system to learn for daily tasks.
• Validation before the bank. Everything sent to the bank is validated against your bank agreement first. Errors are caught and explained while you can still fix them, instead of being rejected by the bank hours later. The integration covers two areas, described on the previous pages: the one-time setup, performed together with your administrator, and the daily finance operations it enables.
